Double yay!

Now "in transit to store" :-)
(other one is still "awaiting triage"... perhaps they just did it all on the same ticket, who knows...)
pleasepleaseplease don't take 5 days to get BACK to the store :D

So what do you figure the total return time will end up being? How tolerable is it? Are you satisfied with the quality of service (if not the timeliness)?

1) Don't know, hopefully a couple of days;
2) It's difficult, but given that it was unusable without the repair, I have to grin and bear it;
3) Timewise this is actually quite good for a laptop repair; all manufacturers make you send them in for service.
4) I'll tell you how satisfied I am when I've got it back and can evaluate. ;-)

Actually, Dell will service them at your home. So not all manufacturers make you send them in for service.

Nope (forgot about dell's at-home service--but didn't know they did it for laptops) but it's still a common enough practice that I can't be specifically miffed at apple for it...
