Fat cat

Zoe had her check-up. She weighs 7.8 kg (17 lb 3 oz in old money). Now, she's a big cat, but that's too much--and it's half a kilo up on last year. She needs to lose about a kilo now, or a little over. So she's on a strict diet. The vet has given us a measuring scoop so she gets exactly the right amount.

*yawns*

We got Aliza a nice playmat, and I bought--shock, horror--my first pair of trainers in I don't know how long, because I wanted something comfortable and good for walking for when I'm out with Aliza. They're black Nike Capris, and don't look too clumpy and trainer-ish. They'll probably still look stupid with skirts but who cares :-P Let's see, long skirt + trainers + baby in pram: all I need is a baseball cap!
