On my 3rd time with the Symphony (which has MAJOR suction!!) I got some out of both sides. Not much, but I hadn;t gotten anything at all on most previous pumping attempts. So there is something there; my main supply just hasn't come in yet. I am slightly worried but trying not to be too concerned--after all, even mothers who bottle feed from the start and never try breast feeding usually have something come in!

Hrm, midwife didn't sound optimistic :/ She'd never heard of domperidone either, but she said to keep pumping and see what happens.

My family's here. They are insane and my mother is insisting on cleaning my kitchen.

ooh, better news

I tried the skin-to-skin idea, when she wasn't too hungry so she wouldn't be frustrated. She latched right on and sucked for 5 minutes before dropping off (a natural, "satisfied" drop off). So that was really good. :) And despite having quite a lot of Aptamil she hasn't gone off breast milk--if I have any, she laps it right up. Now, if my body would just cooperate...
