I changed the slippers. The tag on the hanger said size 8.

Get home, look at them: sticker on the bottom says size 5. Why didn't the clerk notice when she scanned them? (I wouldn't have thought to check both tags).

Holiday traditions

1) It is the night after the holiday and we are munching our way through the leftovers (I didn't do a hugely elaborate menu, but with only 2 people, there's always extra!)

2) I put a brand new white tablecloth down on Friday night. I promptly got red wine on it when I was pouring the glasses for Kiddush. Doh! (Only had 2 sips of it myself, just for the record.)
