today's tip

Don't decide that 21:15 really isn't too late to start making chicken soup; you will fall asleep while it's simmering...

(in the fridge now; I've made about 4 litres oops. oh well, can freeze some for next week).

Although I am glad I made it tonight; that leaves time for it to chill and the fat to congeal. I suspect there's quite a bit of fat this time; it felt a bit greasy when I touched it.

Our DSL has only connected at 4832kbps. (It's been disconnecting and reconnecting a lot the past few days while it syncs.)

We've only moved a couple hundred metres further from the exchange, and BT's DSL checker still reckoned on us getting 6.5Mbps, so this is Meh! :-(

I have a brisket in the oven and lots of fresh challah and soup. :) Didn't get to do any baking though :( even had to buy my honey cake!
