Just made some remoulade sauce.
Sometimes I wonder about who invented remoulade sauce. Was it a case of "let's put LOTS of seasonings in some mayonnaise and see how it tastes?"
(Remoulade - mayonnaise with capers, cornichons, anchovies, parsley, Dijon mustard, garlic, and a touch of cayenne pepper. Delicious with crab cakes. I was actually thinking of making some crab cakes tonight, then realized I didn't have any Old Bay seasoning and I didn't feel like a trek through London to find some!)
