Go read it, it's great. I also recommend the vaccine link at the top of the page, especially for those people who think Mothering sold out on being anti-vax.

They are bonkers on the vaccination thing, but many of their other ideas are sane. Every child should be planned and wanted? If only everyone believed that was so important... (Though the colours they use on that website stops me bothering to read much further...)

No, wanting and planning kids is about the only sane thing on there...

It includes the importance of a "constant mother figure during the early years" (so no working then), no plastic toys, no mainstream schooling, avoiding TV/internet, no consumerism...

And this: "To be clear in our decision to welcome a soul Earthside, it is important to know ourselves intimately and embrace our whole being with self-love." *rolls eyes*

Don't forget, your body should be a temple of purity for 2 years before you conceive.
