trapped!

I can't leave the house--my keys have disappeared again!

I know what happened. I came in, I put the keys and groceries down, went back for Aliza and forgot to put the keys away. So she got them. But I CAN'T FIND THEM!!! Argh.

I've stopped looking because I knew i was at the point where even if they were under my nose I wouldn't find them. I'll try again in 10 minutes.

double annoyance

1) still can't find keys.

2) my laptop got knocked over and now the top casing has come open. I can't afford another repair (I'm sure I'll get charged). It works, but I'm worried about it getting worse. Grr.

(ETA: I mean the display casing, top casing refers to the keyboard area. doh.)

This display casing is not going to hold up. I'm going to have to take it in, even if it costs. Damnit.

(Officially, AppleCare excludes accidental damage. In practice, it varies. Something like your toddler tearing off the membrane and breaking the power button--not covered. Damage from an accident in the normal course of use sometimes is. I've had both happen.)
