bad mommy (ish)

I let aliza have a piece of pastry with hazelnut cream in it. tut.

(some allergists say kids shouldn't be exposed to nuts at all till they're 2 or 3. I still won't give her chunks of nuts, or seeds, because of the choking hazard, but there's no history of food allergies in either of our families and she's yet to react to anything. So I let her have some.)

Doh

I went to do errands earlier and came back to a "sorry you were out" card. So I just went out to go get the package.

I got to the post office and looked at the card while I was queueing. it was only then that I realised it said my parcel had gone to the delivery office in Dollis Park, not my local post office. (all my recent packages have gone there). They close at 12:30 and it takes a day for packages to get there anyway. Doh!

Also, Neil asked me to get him more sultanas and I forgot totally, despite seeing the empty tupperware on the counter this morning. I got home with the groceries, saw the container and smacked myself.
