The accessibility guides are all very well and good if you have a wheelchair, but what I really need is a STAIR-free guide! I can manage escalators, but I can't carry her stroller up the stairs. Neil can, but I'm too clumsy--I'm terrified of slipping.
(The trouble is getting to stations on the Circle/District line. Either I have to change at Kings Cross and go all the way around to Westminster, or take the Piccadilly to Earls Court and backtrack, using buses from either. AFAIK these are the only accessible stations.)
Speaking of which, the lifts at Finchley Central look nearly finished. That will be nice. Right now I can get off northbound at West Finchley no problem, but I go to Finchley Central to get on as it only involves going down 1 flight. Someone usually helps me and even if they don't I can usually manage (with a bit of bouncing!)
