Scrum!

Yesterday someone on the UK Babywearing Swap list was selling out her leftover Colibris (Norwegian-made Mei Tais, no longer made) for £50 each. Consider that someone just sold hers on TBW for $360 (and very few come up for sale--people prefer to trade) and you can imagine the number of people trying to get one! (Original price, according to the woman who made them--who isn't happy about the prices--was anywhere from NOK 450 to NOK 895. She has a potted history with prices on her web site so "people can decide if they want to buy at these [new] rates".)

I actually wonder why she only sold for £50, since that's actually less than the original retail prices on Colibris of that era (about 650 kroner, or £60-odd). (Although that may include Norwegian VAT of 25% which non-Norwegians don't have to pay.)
