A Didymos Pfau (VERY old, rare wrap, which people either love or hate) went on eBay this week.

Final sale price?

€588!!

And the winning bidder already owns a Pfau... which I think cost her about the same amount. Crazy!!

(Now if Lime Waves--which is incredibly rare as it was only a prototype--came up, I'd be tempted. Maybe. That went for $360 when it was auctioned, and it wasn't on eBay. Wouldn't do it for a 2.2m Pfau though. I wouldn't risk Neil killing me ;) )

(There's also a gorgeous and HTF Didy on German eBay at the moment which I would LOVE except it's a size 6. Bah. It's actually quite a recent one but they had trouble with the weaving--it's silk. The new silks are 70/30 instead of 50/50 as a result, because they got so few usable ones out of the first edition.)
