Very hungry girl

Aliza just sucked down a whole 7oz bottle. She's doing that quite a lot now (though not consistently). I think weaning may come earlier than I'd hoped for. :( Not yet, but I was hoping for 5 months (partly selfish reasons--easier for our trip! Although I'd be fine trying her on some baby rice or banana while we're at my parents.)

The recommendations are no solids till 6 months, but bottlefed babies tend to wean earlier. I don't want to switch her to the "hungry baby" milk, as she's not consistent with how much she takes--if she were taking 7oz and crying every time I'd use it but she's not.

She's also very into grabbing at the bottle, which can make feeding time frustrating!

Mommy not feeling brilliant

It's that sort of generic achy-spacey-a little too hot feeling. I took my temperature: 37.8. Normally I run a little low, so I might well be coming down with something (but even so, I'm not gonna panic over a whopping degree of fever). It does mean I have to keep an eye on the baby in case she catches it, though. She hasn't been sick yet (since the hospital) so I must be due!

(Actually she has been fussy today but I think that's more down to constipation, as once that cleared up, so did her mood.)
