I decided to have another go at putting Aliza in a grobag (baby sleeping bag) tonight. This time I left her in her sleepsuit, rather rthan the recommendation of just a long-sleeved bodysuit (onesie). It's only a 1.0 tog, and she normally has a doubled over sheet and then a blanket anyway.

This time she went right to sleep. :) yay! this is great since she kicks her covers off now.

Only annoying thing (small) is that of course I only bought 1 0-6 month one, and I don't really want to spend £24.50 on a 2nd that she'll grow out of quite quickly. So either she better not spit up at night, or she'll be back on the sheet and blanket ;-) She's moving to her full size cot next week (we've been using the carrycot from her pram temporarily--long story involving furniture moving! Good thing you can use the carrycot as a travel cot. See, the Bugaboo came in useful ;) ) so this will affect the amount of bedding we buy, too. She won't need as many top sheets/blankets if she's using grobags. (You still need a couple just in case, but you don't need so many.)

Now, if I could just fall asleep... :(

Oh, and I'll need to get a new icon shot of Her Maj tomorrow :)

I finally got my Amazon order today and discovered I'd ordered the wrong edition :-( Instead of the full size Singer's (aka the Authorised Daily Prayer Book of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth) I ordered the pocket size. For pocket size siddurim, they just shink the typeface so the pagination remains the same. I don't like having to read that all the time. So I've ordered the full size and I'll return the pocket one tomorrow.

"The government and its independent watchdog, the Food Standards Agency are equally adamant there is no proof organic food is better for our health. But science alone cannot prove the point, says Lord Peter Melchett, a director of the Soil Association, who believes consumers must trust their instincts.

"Science doesn't tell us the answers so some of it we have to go on feelings," he says."
