Wow

I had my registration visit with my new GP practice today. I weigh 10 kg less than what the hospital said I weighed in July. This is patently impossible.

I'm thinking the hospital was wrong, because I weighed myself at home shortly after I got weighed at the hospital, and it said I weighed 8kg less than the hospital weight.

Even so, that means I'm 2kg thinner than I was at 12 weeks. Not bad! My stomach is still very definitely recently-post-pregnancy, too. So whatever I lose from now on (hopefully at least some!) is actual weight loss, not just post-baby loss. I really must not have gained much during pregnancy...

(Shame I'm exactly the same bra size I was pre-pregnancy. Ah well...)

Other than that, did some errands today with Aliza in tow (Neil took the afternoon off work to go to the doctor's). That was tiring!

Virgin Atlantic, batting 1.000!

My sister flew back to the US Saturday night. My mother called me that evening in a panic--my dad had called her because the status on VA's website was coming up "cancelled". Ultimately my sister arrived 4 hours late.

I finally found out what happened: They took off on time, and an hour into the flight (I think) the wing flap broke and they had to return to Heathrow! I don't know if they switched planes or what, but eventually they took off again. No word on compensation.

My poor family really aren't doing well with flying, are they?!
