"Thou shalt not ebay in the middle of the night".

But I caught Fantasia on DVD, factory sealed with 16 minutes to go and a high bid of only $32! (Evil Disney withdrew it from the market... for some reason I started looking for it.) My bid is currently just over that ;) so I can get it with shipping for just over £20. Bargainous--that's practically UK RRP!

(ETA: Won, $36+$7 shipping, or £22. Technically liable for duty, but they don't bother collecting if the duty is less than £7, so I don't have to worry about that either.)

I just looked out the window and the pavement is being dug up a few houses down. So presumably, he has sorted out access. Shame it took him 2 months to do it, mind. Also a shame that it will further reduce street parking...

The baby seems to have shifted. I don't know if it's engaged or not (at 33 weeks, it was still frank breech) but there's definitely a bit of a downward shift. I can now eat a full meal again. Unfortunately, instead of pushing against my diaphragm, it's now making the bottom of my stomach and the small of my back ache. I can't really tell though, as from the outside I look the same, and my middle (rather than my stomach) is still hard to the touch. I'm very curious to know just what position it's in, as it's really pushing against my left side. It feels like I have a permanent muscle stitch--rolling over in bed HURTS!

I think any major shopping is out from now on--I had 2 errands in town to do this afternoon, and they left me knackered. I actually got a bus from Oxford Circus to Euston rather than the Tube to save some stairs/walking. Of course, then the down escalator at Euston was being repaired...

Neil really better tell me what he wants (OK, suggestions/hints, and I've told him I don't know what to get him!) for his birthday/holidays as I'm going to have to order it online and I've got about a week!

I actually skipped some other errands which now HAVE to be done tomorrow morning. Among other things I have no Chanukah candles and it starts tomorrow night! Wonder if Zoe will be daft again--last week she tried sniffing the Shabbat candles. I don't know why. I've lit them plenty of times with no problem, but last week she sniffed them, backed up, and then sniffed them again!
