I had a driving lesson today. Not too bad. I may even get the hang of a manual one of these days. Once again, bring the clutch up SLOWLY... (and off gas, THEN change gear).

The cat apparently decided to make a mess of the bath mat this morning. (Neil saw it, I didn't.) I don't know what Neil did to the bathmat--he put it in to wash and dry. I took it out. Soaking wet. Dry again. Still damp. And not very healthy looking. I don't think it liked a 60C extended stain cycle...
