I actually got a letter from them today. I have an appointment with the Community Midwife on 17/08.

I will be in my 19th week! According to the schedule they gave me, I should have my screening tests reviewed in week 16, so presumably I should have had my booking-in before then.

Anyone else think prenatal care should start before the fifth month?

As many of you know, Zoe loves ice cream. Specifically, she loves strawberry Haagen-Dazs. She licks it right up.

A couple of weeks ago Neil had some weight watchers strawberry frozen dessert thing, and gave a bit to the cat. She puked it up.

Told you diet food wasn't good for you. :)

(Reminded of this by the following line in an e-mail from Neil today: "Oh and pick up some more of those Weight Watchers mini-swirl-desserts that made the cat puke.")

I got a pint (OK demi-litre) of H-D Strawberry today. I went to get it a few minutes ago. The cat was on the balcony. When I came back into the lounge with the carton and a spoon, she was sitting next to Neil with an expectant look on her face.

Can she smell it from that far away?!

(Annoyingly, someone must have left the freezer partly open, because the ice-cream is mush... :( )
