Neil's at some bridge thing, so I went to see Capote this evening. Excellent performances all round; end result was the feeling that a wonderful book had been written by a monster. It wasn't a very flattering portrait, although I'll give it credit for not trying to explain him away.
Less entertainingly, after paying £8.80 for the ticket(*), I was forced to sit through 11 minutes of adverts and 4 previews. And they wonder why people don't see films in the cinema?! Sorry, cinema owners, "the experience" will only take you so far.
(* - Islington Vue. It's only £6.50 at Enfield, but that requires driving.)
