1) I weighed myself today. As suspected, I've gained a stone. Must eat better, take metformin regularly.
2) My eyes still hurt :( For some reason, when I put my contacts in after my eye exam, they didn't feel right--I can't explain it unless you've worn contacts. Not quite burning, not quite gritty, but uncomfortable. I ended up having to take them out and I've been wearing my old glasses (which, luckily, I found!) since. I feel spectacularly unattractive (these frames are about 7-8 years old and very out of style! I put off buying new frames for ages because I don't wear them often.)
3) I keep waking up at 5am, unable to fall back asleep. Oh, and I'm hungry.
4) My regular GP is off this week, so I made an appointment for Tuesday. Only today I realised I don't have enough pills to last me that long--I thought I had 1 more card. I don't. (The appointment was for a general checkup, which was recommended last time I was in, but I was planning to get my refills at the same time.) So now I have to ring the surgery and see if I have to waste one of their emergency appointments (and seeing a random GP again) or if they can get someone to just print and sign the script. They'll probably make me waste a GP's time.
5) Zoe had more blood tests today. Poor kitty cat. Although we discovered the vet forgot to charge us for her vaccinations Saturday! When we went in today, he said "Zoe hasn't had her shots" and we said, "yes, she did, the other vet did them Saturday; that's why we brought her in". So he entered them for free. :) (Although we paid the consultation fee Saturday, which normally isn't charged when you bring them in for shots.)
