I can't put it off any longer. I can't read teletext and I was less than 10 feet from the TV. It's gonna hurt (need exam, contacts, frames and lenses), and I'd rather keep putting it off, but I can't. If I don't have new contacts before we go to the States Neil will be stuck doing all the driving, too. :/

Zoe is very interested in a fly: she keeps jumping up to try to kill it. It's nice to see she can be roused from her stupor on occasion.

As any Londoner will know, you can't take the tube to Southall; it terminates at Ealing :)

(To its credit the article does say to take the tube to Ealing Broadway, then the train to Southall. You could also get that same train from Paddington.)
