The other day, the government survived a vote on an anti-terror bill with a majority of one.

One of the MPs who failed to vote was George Galloway. He was too busy putting on a one-man show in Ireland to bother attending.

Yes, I'm pissed off at missing it on TV tonight. Inordinately so.

We took Zoe in to the vet today. She needed her teeth checked, plus it was time for a nail clip and she was getting mucky under the tail again (darned long haired cats, it gets really matted, and she won't let me clean her up).

Her teeth are ok; we need to keep an eye on one of them. The vet clipped out her tangles, but said it looked like she'd had a bit of diarrhea (not noticed...) so we've got to put her on chicken and rice for a few days. We've got leftover roast chicken in the fridge, so I'm just boiling some rice up for her.

I'm so good to my cat. :)
