D'OH!!!!!!
Before we went away, I left the fridge-freezer to defrost. I opened the doors, put towels down, and turned off the little switch on the power point.
Imagine my surprise when I come in today and saw the freezer completely frozen. Upon investigation, Neil discovered that i had turned off the switch for the boiler, not the fridge!! DOH!! It's defrosting now.
Powergen are going to love us now--fridge was on for 2 weeks with the door open :-(
It really was an accident but I feel incredibly stupid and guilty now.
