Adaptation

It's funny, I feel like I haven't adapted to the UK, but this week I keep finding myself doing UK-specific things, like sticking my arm out to hail the bus and being halfway to the back before I remember you can exit from the front.

Of course I'm still a New York girl: the two most important parts of the car are the gas pedal and the horn. :-)

It would seem I'm suspended somewhere over the Atlantic.

Ooh!

The Jetta wouldn't start this afternoon, so I was actually permitted to take my mother's car. She didn't want me to, but my dad made her. Having 2 parents is cool. ;-)

It was great fun (she has a Mercedes C240); it was just a shame I didn't get to do any highway driving....
