I am a sad sad woman.
I went out and bought Tiger on the release date. What makes it extra sad is that they weren't releasing it till 18:00, so I made a special extra trip to the mall after dinner for it. I was a selfish cow about it too, since I went to my grandma's for dinner (though to be fair, I got there at 16:30 and left at 20:30 and she always goes to bed early... and I'm going round Sunday too).
To up the sad factor, I immediately went home and installed it. It's 2:30am, I should go to bed, and I keep saying "let's just finish one more thing".
The re-install has been fine, except for:
1) Apple's method for transferring my music onto a new computer didn't work; iTunes still thought the iPod was linked to another computer (perhaps I should've unlinked it before I reinstalled... too late though). I had to copy them via the shell (because the Finder hides the iTunes folder on the iPod), then import them. It was a little messy. Good thing they give you 5 computers to use purchased music, or I'd be screwed, because I just realized I also forgot to de-authorize it and I'm not sure if iTunes is smart enough to know it's the same computer, just with a new OS.
2) Using MSN crashes Fire. Now confirmed as a known bug and they're working on a fix.
I also bought The Sims (big multipack, now they give you 3 expansion packs). I know the Sims 2 is out, and in fact I have it, but heaven knows when it will be out for Mac and if the PC version is anything to go by, running it at any kind of decent speed will require a dual G5. Neil's PC is reasonably new and fast (he IS a gamer) but I've barely played Sims 2 because I got sick of how slow it was--it constantly hangs and you have to wait for it to catch up.
