After the swelling in my face went down, I noticed that there was still a swelling at the top of my tooth. I assumed it would go down as my tooth healed. Well, it hasn't. In fact, I think it's getting bigger. I'm going to call the surgeon Friday if it doesn't get better. I remember last time, penicillin (which is what I got this time) didn't work on the infection, which is why it got so bad. I live in fear of a repeat of that experience.
