Was just looking at the page for the new Tiger Mountain exhibit at the Bronx Zoo.
It seems one of the tigers is named Alexis. Read their description of her:
"She is the most vocal of all the tigers, often "talking" to the keepers and the other tigers. She can also be moody - sometimes in the afternoons she gets grumpy and growls at her keepers or her mom, Norma. The keepers say she can act like a sulky teenager, but she still likes to play with toys, including a log that she uses as a face scratcher."
What a fittingly named animal, huh? :-) (Except I don't have a face scratcher. Or weigh 303 lbs.)
