Leave to remain fees are being raised to £335 for postal service and £500 for in person service!!!
Fuck this for a larf, as soon as I can get away with DCF I'm making Neil move to the US :-P
(DCF = Direct Consular Filing, where it's all done via the Embassy and takes 3 months instead of 10 via USCIS, and the whole process is simplified. You have to have been resident abroad for a certain time to be allowed to do it, though.)
