Aliza thinks my mother is called Alexis. It's driving her (my mom) nuts. We have gotten Aliza to realize that my mother is Grandma (if we say "where's Grandma?" that's who she points to, and sometimes she says it) but she keeps going to my mom and saying "hi 'lexis!"

She has everyone else down, though it took her a while to get my dad right (he's Papa). It's just my mother, and she doesn't seem to realize that Alexis = Mommy. We joked that she does this because my mother's always saying my name.

She's a real cutie, though, and now she's busy asking for everything. Mommy? Mommy? Daddy? Mook (milk)? Cake? Pasta! Joe? (Host of Blue's Clues, though really she just means kids' TV) Shoes, go out! Car! Carry? (Pick me up Mommy). Down!
