In the past couple of weeks, Aliza has turned into a genuine, authentic, bona-fide two year old. She's very funny, but exhausting! Today she drew all over the furniture and we had to confiscate the crayons. I can't even remember half the stuff I wanted to post now. Neil had pizza last week and she said "pizza? piece pizza?" and Neil said "say please" and she said "pizza please!" Last night she took a book off the night table and I said "Aliza, give me that, it won't be very interesting for you" and she said "yes it is".

She also has tantrums. Because she can.

Oh, and we forcibly debinked her a few days ago. I got sick of her waking up in the middle of the night and crying "binky" because she'd dropped it, and refusing to have her diaper changed unless we gave it to her. So one day when she threw it we told her it had gone away for good. We're slowing the brakes on getting her to sleep in her own bed in the meantime (we'll shift her in when she falls asleep, but skipping the cry-it-out when she tries to come back in--one shock at a time).

Her latest habit is spitting her milk or water out when she's drinking. Yuck.
