Sort-of-good news

I don't need a root canal. No nerve involvement.

Bad news: I need a crown. Which I already knew. However, I'm in pain NOW, so he filled it and warned me it won't hold forever. And charged me $200. Which, from one POV, is cheaper than what I was expecting; but from another, is just another $200 on top of the crown I need anyway.
