I was actually watching the Thanksgiving Day parade, and it got rickrolled! Google will show you clips. It was funny, in a behind-the-times way. Though actually getting Rick Astley was pretty good.

So, I arranged for this speech evaluation. (I don't have an exact date but it should be in the next couple of weeks.) And in the past 3 days she's learned more new words (and said them more clearly) than she has in the past 3 months. Will I feel stupid if this keeps up...

(of course, it's better if she does just start talking, but it's kind of funny)

I need to figure out something to do tomorrow so we don't go stir-crazy (we've done very little this week).

Everything will be crowded with either Black Friday shoppers or families amusing kids. I don't want to go into the city (crowds, plus I'm planning on going in after they light up the tree next week). LI Children's Museum is supposed to be fun, but not cheap ($10 each and Aliza is full price) and probably busy.

Trying to convince Neil to go to the Woodbury outlet mall next week. if we go on a weekday, there won't be a 2 hour queue on the Thruway. (one year, there was a 10 hour traffic jam on Black Friday there!)
