I got myself gloves and a beret, then looked for Aliza. Why is it that in some stores, the boys' mittens and hats will be good, sturdy ones, and the girls' cheap fleece pieces of shit? Argh. They do make nice girls' mittens, I just didn't see any today. I'm giving up and ordering some from Lands End or something.

In totally unrelated news, my mother is working late and left something for dinner which I don't want to eat but which I have to cook. Bleh.
