Aliza can now do shape-sorter puzzles, and even managed a couple of new words this week. I swear, wasn't she a baby 5 minutes ago?

I bought wool today so my mom can knit Aliza a scarf. I ended up with something chunkier than I wanted (it's 3 sts/in on 10.5 needles) but it's lovely multicolor alpaca and sooo soft. Plus, since it is chunky, my mom (who can knit stockinette super quickly) will finish the scarf in about a day! It's brown/blue/green, and I'd love a scarf to match (especially since all the nice scarves in the store are at least $70; I was looking today) but my coat is black. Plus, I'm not good enough to do ti myself (my knitting is still really uneven) and it's cheeky asking my mom to do it for me! I need to start practicing again--I got fed up for a bit.
