I went to Dr. Lipman, which is like putting a "hit me and steal my wallet" sign on my forehead.
The ostensible reason was a lost filling--I'd rather replace it than wait and end up needing a crown.
Well... I need one anyway. At least 2. (Plus some assorted fillings.) And one HAS to be done now, or the decay will hit the nerve. I had suspected a problem there, because food gets caught and no amount of flossing makes it feel right. Well, now that it's been properly cleaned out, I can feel the cavity. It's awful.
The good news is that he can patch the other one, and he'll let me pay off the one I need now over time. Still not great, but the best that can be managed.
Also, he got paid in full today (exam, cleaning, full X-ray series) so he can't complain too much.
