Aliza's speech

We took Aliza to see my cousin (a speech and language therapist) this morning. After watching and playing with her for a bit, she recommended a formal evaluation with Early Intervention. The issues are:

- limited vocabulary with very inconsistent use
- doesn't have names for me or Neil (never said Mama, doesn't say dada now--sometimes uses it to refer to any person)
- doesn't imitate speech
- limited range and quantity of sounds in general.

So, I'll get the ball rolling on that tomorrow, I guess. I know she'll be fine, but she'll benefit from a little help.
