I was worried that there was going to be an awful line because the parking and traffic were terrible, but it was OK. Only took me 5 minutes.

I don't know why the Board of Elections chose that site, though. (Hall in West Hills Park.) There's a long, narrow road up to the parking lot, and like I said, the traffic sucked. Not enough parking. It makes no sense because there's an elementary school nearby they could have used. The actual parking lot isn't any bigger, really, but the library is across the street and there's another park next door, and there wouldn't have been a jam getting out as everyone parked on the access road made 3 point turns to leave.

Yes, I voted straight Row A.

I decided to call Dr. Lipman to have this tooth seen before it becomes a root canal and crown (I suspect that it's a filling that came out--I remember having an odd filling on that tooth that hadn't been filed correctly).

Well, damn it, he's on vacation till the 13th!

Not that I'm not, usually, but I am particularly proud today. Not just because my candidate won, but the feeling that democracy worked today. People were excited when I went to vote. People who had never voted before registered because they felt it meant something. It felt great.
