Why not ask about fathers? Why not "families suffer in dual income households"?

No, it's the MOTHER!

As long as we always view things as being the woman's choice/responsibility, nothing is ever going to change.

today at dinner (I took Aliza out) I handed her a straw to distract her. She immediately put it in the glass of water that was sitting in between us and started drinking. She got a total kick out of it. Just plain water, but she drank most of the glass just because she thought it was so fun to drink from a straw.

(She has a straw-type sippy cup so she knows how to suck on one, but she's never used a straw and a regular glass before.)

also, all her hair is curly now. For a while it was curly in back and straight in front, but now it's all curls.
