(ha, finally got the hotel internet working... my feet need a rest so I may as well check the Internet)

our trip got of to a bad start. T5 baggage failed again. We were delayed 2 hours, including an hour on the tarmac while they supposedly loaded all the bags. Well, we got to Rome, and a good 25 people were left waiting for bags that didn't arrive... including Neil's. We did notice quite a few bags on the carousel marked BA558--we were BA556. I checked later and it seems that BA558 is the 18:20 flight. Neil's bag is still in London. :(

Otherwise, good trip so far, though the tour of the Vatican Museums was a bit disappointing--we booked a tour because we heard how bad the queues were if you didn't, but they rushed us through before the Sistine Chapel, and it's a one way thing so we couldn't go back. Oh well. Did see the Pope in St Peter's Square!
