One, because I think it's pointless and ineffective (it's like the 24 hour gas strike thing). In order to be effective a protest has to have the ability to harm the target in the long run!
Two, because SixApart is a company, not some little commune that "consults with users";
Three, because I think the Plus versus Paid choice is pretty fair. LiveJournal costs money to run. You can pay for it yourself or have ads (and don't forget, existing basic accounts are fine--just can't create new ones).
Four, I'm an evil, contrary capitalist.
