1) I finally worked out that trade (after she wavered on trading or selling... a sale would have been doable as my item was easily sellable, but I preferred a trade because otherwise I'd be paying for the shipping on both items, and would lose out). Now she wants shipping with delivery confirmation, which means I have to pay for more expensive shipping (DC isn't available with standard international shipping). Oy gevalt.

2) I put another item up FS. It confirmed my theory that unless you have the Hot Item of the Moment it's all about how you price. I priced it a bit lower than I should have (I paid in euros and was pricing in US$, and didn't do a proper exchange calculation, so priced it lower than I should have, but didn't think about it till later!). The wrap in question is a standard model, nothing unusual, but I swear I had 10 messages about it within 2 hours.

It appears that what she wants is to sit on the sofa to play. The floor will not do; she wants to be at the same level as Mommy.
