Diaper change drama

Aliza has a new favourite game. When I lay her down to change her diaper, she instantly rolls over, gets on her knees and sits up. She does it FAST--by the time I've pulled the diaper between her legs, she's over! Trying to change her diaper is now either a 10 minute or 2 person job.

She's recently stood up without holding on--done it several times but not for very long yet!

And she loves to feed herself--not good with a spoon, but she dumps her food onto her highchair tray and picks it up, a piece at a time. Now she gets big pasta instead of mini pasta ;)

Goody, she dumped her box of blocks on the floor.

OMG

I had to go into the kitchen for a few minutes. So I closed my laptop (made sure it was latched) and propped it against the back of the sofa so Aliza couldn't pull it off.

I came back in and the laptop was on the floor, open, and Aliza was playing with it.

My child is a geek.

other travel 'highlight'

We're flying BA (mmm, NatWest Airmiles) so we'll get to use the new Terminal 5. Although, no guarantees everything will be open yet, especially since we'll only be in Phase 1! (BA are moving its flights over in a couple of shifts)
