The other day, I was lazy and washed all of Aliza's stuff together. This was a bad idea, because there was something non-colourfast in there (I don't know what it was--most of it had been washed before and I'm not sure which of the newer items would turn things pinkish. No red involved.) I ran them through with colour run remover twice, but there wasn't much improvement. I wasn't surprised as they'd been washed at 40C and then dried (combi unit, so it went straight to dry without me seeing the stains first).

This doesn't matter for onesies and the like (I can try bleaching them if I want; if I don't, no one will see them) but a couple of her good tops were light coloured and are now ruined.

So today I had a quick look for new ones. Unfortunately there's no Next in Brent Cross. There is a Baby Gap, but ugh, bad colours at the moment! I was in there a month ago and they had cute stuff, but the current hot colours are navy blue and an appalling shade of green. The former is OK in limited quantities--I prefer bright colours for little kids. But navy mixed with brights (pink, green etc) is just ugly.
