They operate on the same principle: whatever the adult/human is using is clearly more interesting than their own toys. The logic is, if the toys were really so interesting, they'd be playing with them themselves, instead of foisting them off on us.

Other things today: I made her Weetabix a bit too milky, and it was an unholy mess, and she had an unplanned bath. I would have preferred to do her bath after tea, as it involves tomato sauce. I could be really lucky and get to give her another one!
