It's long been my view that obtaining a PCV licence should require a demonstration of braking skills, preferably on a full bus--and that many current bus drivers would fail that test. Today's 326 driver hit a new low. When braking, my fully braked stroller (parked towards the window as usual, so Aliza faced the aisle--this is the necessary position for 1) allowing a 2nd stroller into the buggy area and 2) easy exit from the bus) went flying SIDEWAYS (towards the front). A Bugaboo Cameleon is not a lightweight stroller and there was a 20-pound baby strapped into it. Now that's harsh braking. Aliza wasn't hurt, but I was fuming.
