My TSH is fine--0.8, which is absolutely perfect. (It was good that I checked, though, because I saw their reference ranges on the screen. Anything up to 4.94 is flagged as OK--that's a bit out of date. Nowadays endocrinologists prefer to have you under 2.5.) Haemoglobin is low, 9.9. She asked me a bunch of questions and couldn't come up with any obvious reason for me to be anaemic, so I'm having the test re-done along with an iron level. If that's low, she'll prescribe iron tablets. So that would explain why I'm tired. Weight, well, I suppose I'll just have to be more careful about what I eat. Not sure quite why I put on a stone, but it's there and I want it gone (I'd like several stones gone in fact but we'll start with one) (Stone = 14 lbs.)
Afterwards I did some errands, got a new kitchen scale, the new iLife, looked at the new iMac (interesting keyboard...) pottered around in Borders and then came home. I think Miss Bubba needs a nap so I am going to make her have one. She's had a few catnaps today, but not a proper nap.
Neil is in Brighton. He phoned me from the beach. Git.
