a ba ba da dabaga

Aliza's babbling has increased exponentially in the last few days. Now instead of just going "aaah aaah aaa" it's a constant torrent of syllables.

She's got "da" down pat but no "ma" so I'm thinking first word may well be dada instead of mama!

She is cuuuuute :)

OT: today's earworms were "Iko Iko" and "Lovely Rita" (the Beatles). Interspersed with, er, The Odd Couple theme.

I was going to make a cheesecake to take to clarisinda and papaspoof's.

I just went to make it. Except... contrary to what I thought, I have no graham cracker crumbs. And I have nothing else in the house that I can use for a cheesecake base. :( (Darn, should have bought some Oreos, then I could've done chocolate.)

Sorry everyone! I'll bring some brownies though.
