We had a girly shopping afternoon. Aliza will be the best dressed baby in Finchley. It was a tussle between my cutesy instincts and Carly's more stylish/funky ones. I like some of that but I like babies to look like babies, not like they're being dressed for the adults, if you see what I mean--I'm not big on slogans. (Although we got her a T-shirt that says "my dad rocks". It's funny--it's got a flame with a skull-and-crossbones, done in rhinestones. Very cute--and a grown up design without a grown-up slogan to make me cringe, like the one they got Aliza earlier--"born to be spoiled: all major credit cards accepted") Carly insisted on a Juicy Couture baby sweatsuit, over my objections (I didn't pay for it...)

Afterwards I went shopping for myself. I got some good stuff, and was bought some as well. Very nice! I have to start dieting properly, though. If I get any fatter I won't fit into anything!

Not much else today. I'm getting my hair cut and coloured tomorrow. Whee.
