I told my mother to get a pack of Pampers size 2 as they're 12-18 lbs. Aliza is 15-16 (she was 14.5 at her last check). I thought the 3s would be too big, as they're for 16-28 lbs. (The US sizes are different from the UK ones. Or at least the labelling is different :P )
The 2s were too small, so this morning I went to Target and got some 3s. They fit perfectly. Pah. Now there's a large pack of useless 2s. (I DID say to my mother, get a small pack so I can be sure they're right, but they didn't listen. They also got Tushies wipes instead of Pampers sensitive. I know my mother was trying to go along with my preference for natural products, but in this case I specifically asked for Pampers sensitive [she insisted on buying everything, so I'm not being that ungrateful!]) Anyway I went out and got some wipes. Also got her a baby swing which she really likes (did get her the 3-in-1 for here as it will be more useful.. not sure which I'll get her at home). The swing is good because she's up a bit higher, not as good as a high chair but better than a bouncer. There's too much stuff to buy in this country!!
My parents also got her a bouncer, and funnily enough she LOVES the toy bar even though she never showed any interest in grabbing toys before!! She worked out how to get one of the rings off the bar. Clever girl.
