For some reason I couldn't remember where to put the date on a business letter (below my address or below the recipient's) so I looked it up and discovered I've been using a mishmash of block and modified block for personal letters for years. I indent my address all the way to the right, but everything else is aligned left. In block format it's all left, in modified block the signature is also flush right.

Where did I pick this up, then? I remember being taught letter formats at school.

(Whenever I had to do letters at various jobs, there was a format the boss preferred and I used that.)

Not a very exciting day, I'm afraid. Aliza's Fuzzi Bunz showed up today. They fit (which is good--she was at the top end for small and the bottom for medium; I ordered mediums and they fit on the tightest snaps :) ) and I've put them on for a wash. The pocket part really is lovely and lightweight--they'll dry in a flash. Excellent.

Meanwhile I've been having a very frustrating time trying to print. The printer is hooked up to Neil's machine and shared. I got an "NT_CONNECTION_ERROR". Deleted the printer, went to re-add it--this has happened before, Windows decides it doesn't like to be visible. No visible printer. Re-checked set-up, now I can see the printer in "add printer" but when I try to connect I get a mysterious "error 256". I hate Windows, you piece of shite. One will note that I have never had trouble connecting to another Mac or going from Mac to Windows. In the end I printed my letter from Neil's PC. Good thing it was only a Word document.

Can't think of anything else to report, I'm afraid! I'm sure there was something else but no idea what.
